Type C - Stainless Steel Camlock Coupling

This is a SS camlock coupler with a hose tail. Used in conjunction with a corresponding camlock adapter, either a Type A (female thread end) Type E (hose tail) Type F (male thread end) or Type DP (dust plug). Type C couplers are generally used with the same size Type E adapters.

Hose Tail options

• The Type C hose ends are supplied as either dual or multi-barbed hose tails. The multi-barbed versions also include an optional crimping ring to the hose tail.

Installation of a Type C Camlock Fitting

1. The male adapter (Type A, E, F or DP) is inserted into the female Type C coupler.
2. Make sure the male adapter end sits firmly against the gasket in the coupler.
3. The cam arms will move out and up into an approximate 90° position.
4. Close the cam arms. This will secure the male adapter firmly in place against the supplied gasket.
5. Insert the R-Clips supplied into the pin holes to secure the arms in the closed position.
6. The connection is now sealed and can be used for moving fluids or dry bulk goods.
7. To disconnect, you simply lift the cam arms out and up and remove the male adapter from the coupling.
