CAMLOCK REDUCERS
Camlock Reducers are part of the Camlock Coupling family, also called Cam and Groove Couplings. They provide the flexibility to transition between different hose or pipe diameters in different industrial applications. Just like standard Camlock Couplings, they can be easily connected and disconnected without requiring a tool, making them suitable for applications that demand a quick and efficient transfer of liquids and dry materials.
Key Features of Camlock Reducers
- Available here in high grade aluminium alloy - Grade A356 with T6 Heat treatment.
- When it comes to end type, one side has a camlock coupling end stepping up or down to either a camlock adapter, hose tail or threaded end.
- They are compatible with all the Camlock Types, ranging from Type A to Type F that have been manufactured to the US Standard MIL-C-27487 specification, now A-A-59326 specification.
How the Camlock Reducers Work?
- 1. Select the Camlock reducer based on the size differential you need to bridge and end type to match.
- 2. Insert the male Camlock fitting into the female (coupling arm section).
- 3. The arms should move up into an approximate 90 degree position.
- 4. Close the arms to secure the connection to create a leak-proof seal.
To disconnect, all you need to do is lift the cam arms and separate the couplings.
